Members of Persatuan Warganegara Malaysia (PWM), including its Exco and advisors, joined fellow Malaysians in celebrating the 68th Merdeka Day at the High Commission of Malaysia on the morning of 31st August 2025 in a patriotic and meaningful gathering filled with national pride and unity. The celebration brought together Malaysians residing in Brunei Darussalam to commemorate the nation’s independence through the singing of patriotic songs, flag-waving and the recitation of the Ikrar, which was led by Mr. Conrad, Deputy Vice President of Social Welfare of PWM. Several PWM Exco members also added colour and cultural significance to the event by wearing traditional Malaysian attire, reflecting the rich heritage and multicultural identity of Malaysia while strengthening the spirit of togetherness among the Malaysian community abroad.
