PWM together with Radisson Hotel Brunei Darussalam, successfully held a Blood Donation Drive in support of the RIPAS Hospital Blood Donation Centre on 27th June 2026 . The event, held from 9am to 4pm, drew an encouraging turnout of over 100 participants, with 98 individuals successfully donating blood.

The drive was graced by the presence of His Excellency Datuk Mohd Aini Atan, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Brunei Darussalam and Patron of PWM, who also rolled up his sleeves to donate blood in a gesture of solidarity with the cause. Held at Radisson Hotel, the event brought together PWM members, the wider local community, and supportive friends of the association, all united by a shared commitment to a cause that saves lives. Mr Sugumaran Nair, the event’s Organising Committee representative, extended his appreciation to the RIPAS Blood Bank team for their professionalism and support in ensuring the drive ran smoothly and safely from start to finish.

Azlan Ahmad, President of PWM, thanked Radisson Hotel for its role as the event’s primary partner, along with all participants and supporters who helped make the drive a success. “PWM remains committed to fostering meaningful community engagement and upholding social responsibility,” said Azlan. “Through initiatives like this blood donation drive, our goal is not only to support a critical cause, but to nurture a spirit of unity and mutual respect within our community.”

With the continued backing of its partners, sponsors and volunteers, PWM reaffirmed its commitment to organising more impactful community programmes in the future, further strengthening the bonds between the Malaysian community in Brunei and the local population it calls home.
